Responsive Database Services Limited (RDSL), now established as a leading player in the daily news provision market place, was formed in 1995 as a subsidiary of Responsive Database Services Inc (RDSI). The core team had already come together prior to this, working for Infomat Limited and BIS Strategic Decisions.

RDSL's vision is to provide fast access to relevant information to decision makers and researchers alike through the provision of daily, customer-defined abstracts feeds sourced from over 150 daily, weekly and monthly newspapers and specialist publications in 8 languages. Our services are aimed at making time for users, time which they can then dedicate to more qualitative tasks other than sifting through piles of irrelevant data to find those stories that can inform their decision-making.

Our clients, mainly large telecoms and IT companies worldwide, use our services in a variety of ways, either supplying us with a mailing list to despatch, by noon each day, feeds of relevant information direct to end-users globally in HTML or ASCII, or by receiving a centralised feed to either a list server, a Lotus Notes server, or another type of database engine which allows users to search and/or receive daily updates as soon as we ship them.

We also supply feeds direct to the desktops of senior executives, cutting out a significant amount of data clutter from their daily business lives.
